As part of the railway’s innovation efforts to identify technologies for emission reduction, a  𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥-𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 was installed in the train’s generator, enabling a reduction of up to 60% 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and significantly lowering particulate and NOx emissions.
